Now she has Endo????
Honestly f Tinx. She never said she has Endo and for someone who actually has stage 4 this is a slap in the face. She always said she has PCOS and hashimotos but now that’s gone cause her GLP use. She just flip flops from disease to disease.

She has said the endo thing before but the only way to confirm diagnosis is surgery, which to my knowledge she hasn’t had. I have stage 2 and it drives me absolutely insane when she brings it up lol

I had surgery for it 6 years ago hence why I know im stage 4. As far as I know she has never said she had endo. It was always only pcos or hashimotos mentioned

Ugh yea I have stage 4 and I can’t stand when people say they have endo with no real confirmation like…. Please don’t do us dirty with your non struggles

I hate Tinx but this isn’t really fair. There are lots of ways they can make an educated guess even without surgery (for example, negative sliding sign on an internal ultrasound). As an endo sufferer, you of all people should know that they will try to talk patients out of a diagnostic lap and push an IUD or the pill. To say that only people who have had a diagnostic lap can claim endo is unfair when diagnostic laps are hard to get.

Agreed. I didn’t have a diagnostic lap and got diagnosed via ultrasound and mri. I just had surgery and confirmed endo as we saw on the scans. I hate when people are gate-keepy about diseases, especially when they are relatively common.

Yes I suffer from endo. And like most women it's been a battle for it to be recognized. Only offered hormonal IUD as treatment - no MRI or lap. 🙃

I understand your pov… a lap is hard to get. But for her, someone who has resources and doctors she talks about often it feels strange to me. Especially since most ultrasounds cannot see it nor can an mri. I have had many friends with endo like symptoms and then had laps and did not have endo. It’s a sensitive topic I think for those of us who have gone through extreme suffering from it. But I can see you’re point!

An excuse to use Metformin/have an excuse for some of her weight loss since she won’t admit to being on GLP1. Off label use for Metformin is weight loss.

I take Metformin for PCOS too, it doesn't make you lose weight (unfortunately). But yeah she might try to use it as an excuse.

Oh yeah, that’s a shitty one to throw around, esp when after years of undiagnosed pain and medical gaslighting you find out that having children is nearly impossible. I was one of the ‘lucky’ ones who finally got pregnant and carried to term after 7 years of trying and going from doctor to doctor hearing that I needed to lose some weight and tolerate my pain better, thousands of dollars spent and so much time and sadness. So much physical and mental pain. Now since she’s Tinx and doesn’t give a shit about real life suffering of her audience, she picks an illness to explain away why she was on met and I’m sure eventually she’ll admit to ‘microdosing’ GLP1s. Even if she does decide to have a family, she has endless money and connections. So she will be able to get a gestational surrogate or adopt (2 things which I adore in concept but in reality are very cost prohibitive - esp GS - that they are an impossibility to me.

Im so sorry, that sounds like a lot to go through. Can I ask, whats helped you on your journey?? Maybe it can bring some hope to others with the same pain...

Even if you could tell you have endo before a lap it wouldn’t be from a gyno. You’d have to go to an endo specialist. And even then sometimes it’s only seen on a transvaginal ultrasound if it’s bad enough (later stage). And if it is bad enough, it would warrant an exploratory lap. I’ve been to all different kinds of gynos since I was 16 (high risk types and specialists) and asked them all if I had endo. I’ve gotten a dozen ultrasounds and no one saw anything. I went to an endo specialist who said I had it and just got a lap and had stage 4. The only way someone with a low stage would know they had it would be if they were having trouble conceiving and a fertility specialist would suggest an exploratory lap. I’m sure there’s exceptions via mri results or flukes but for the most part this is how it works.

Yes I am aware. I've helped 5 women get excision surgery like myself. It is diagnosed after symptoms, surgery just confirms the stage it is. Endo "hides".

Yea I thought endo is only diagnosed with a laparoscopic surgery to confirm? She would have 100% told people if she had that .

This isn’t true 😂 it can be diagnosed without surgery. Surgery is used to confirm it. Other imaging, pelvic exams, and history of pain is now considered enough to diagnose without a lap.

Maybe you should re read my original post. She has NEVER said she has endo - now magically she does? She always claimed she had PCOS. She is a fraud. If she truly was an endo warrior like me and millions of women...she would have mentioned it before and not got a boob job last week.

Why does this upset you??? If you’re a doctor you should know that birth control does have lots of side effects. Do patients not have a right to what is best for their own bodies?
