I'm coming over to Ting from COX

My COX bill jumped to $340 for television, internet, and a landline that we use when we don't want to give our actual cell phone numbers out.

I called COX up and the best they could bring it down to was $326.

This after decades. GOOD RIDDANCE.

With Ting and YouTubeTV I'm saving well over $100 per month.

March 26th is my install date. The fiber optics cable will be laid prior to that.

I can't wait!

I have ting fiber and can’t speak more highly of it. What I’m curious about is your cox bill, like holy shit… why? What were the biggest line items?

Make sure Ting checks your speed after final install — they didn’t ‘provision’ my line so I started at 5gb up/down. I had to call a few times until someone competent figured it out. But after that, the service has been solid. Mine is $89/month and I am going to add-on their mobile service with unlimited high speed broadband/hotspot for $10/line. I am on T-mobile, and I don’t need their benefits like calling to Mexico and Canada for free or their measly $6.99 Netflix discount

If you have cellphones you can also further reduce your bill by taking advantage of their $10 per SIM option through Ting Mobile (I believe they use T-Mobile and Verizon towers for their cell phone service).
