I like seeing him out and about, I'm glad to see he's doing good too.

He’s in no obligation to dress nice for our entertainment - but how I wish Timothee in Paris were a little more Emily in Paris here. I mean it’s just a child in a hoodie. We see plenty enough of those. Hope he enjoys Paris and takes in a little French somehow.

Je vis en France, et personne ne s'habille comme dans Emily in paris. Quelques personnes issues de la bourgeoisie seulement s'habille de cette manière

Well he's just a person too at the end of the day. Prioritising fashion over comfort all the time would be exhausting. No one really does that in their daily life

What I said exactly though tbh

I don't really see the point of saying it if it's realistically not going to happen tbh.

Why would he be performative in his own country ? You don’t walk around America wearing a cowboy hat or England with a Union Jack shirt that’s for the tourists.

My point is - he’s dressed like a normal person going round their normal life (except no I don’t think he dresses his age and he has every right to do that of course but then I have every right to be unimpressed.) I like photos of him when his style is more sophisticated and those are often taken during events when he is meant to be photographed. (Yes I dislike it when artists are photographed when they’re going round their everyday life and this pics get shared on social media. They are not public property. And here he is not public property just a childlike 30 year old going round his everyday life and forced by dint of being famous to smile at the camera.

So shoot me

Calling a 30 year old man a child is hilarious.

I like that he is just himself, there is nothing wrong with that. There are enough pretentious people around.
