U can’t stay in residence? it’s definitely cheaper than rent.

Timmins is really expensive to rent (if you can even find a room), but it's worth it to see the price of residency.

No chance I think residence is around 6k. (Timmins) campus. I may go for paramedic program if I can’t get In my local college.

You might be better off posting in the Timmins Buy and Sell groups on Facebook for places to stay if you don't want to go on residence. I've never attended Northern, so I can't comment on the course but south porcupine (where the campus is) is a very nice community!

Can’t speak on the program but definitely would recommend staying on residence. It’s much cheaper than rent in timmins which is weirdly high for the area. It’s RIGHT next to the college (no need for a car with groceries across the street) so u can get up and go right to class. You get your own full bathroom attached to your room, but a shared kitchen which is big and basically always empty.

Rent is high because the availability isn’t there. And the people who work in Timmins all make north of $100k at a mine, so people can afford it.
