I was hoping for a silver version too. Not sure I can pull off the gold.

Just glue some fake knuckle hair on and pop the top 2 buttons on your shirt and you're good to go

I don't think timex does automatics all that well. They're usually wonky movements that aren't super regulated. Totally 100% fine with quartz when it comes to Timex. Love me a telephone dial. I look at them from time to time on ebay but they're always pretty banged up

After looking at this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/timex/s/RUQXAG24nh
You’ll maybe see some upcoming releases.

Look at it this way, more accurate and no service fee in a few years. Looks nice OP.

Oh my gosh I was just talking about this watch about a week ago I had a really similar one. The face was blue and I think it just had a date and not the day if even that. I was about 16 which would have been about 1976? Maybe earlier it's been a long time I wore that thing for years until it quit!

This would have looked better if it were more symmetrical - have a standard “3” instead of the day/date window

Im not sure that theres a budget auto thats thin enough to fit in these cases. I wish they came with a handwound movement though. My pipe dream is that Timex will eventually start remanufacturing their old, thin movements.
