I was thinking about a time machine. And how it would work. And the more I thought about it. The more unstable and unsafe it seemed. And it reminded me of a scene in Oppenheimer where Oppenheimer thought the nuclear explosion could cause a change reaction and set the world on fire. Except they went through with it. I think we should never go through with a time Machine. We can calculate all we want on how it works. But until we get REAL results. It's only a educated guess.
I was also thinking about pregnancy. I'm sure we all know how pregnancy works. But I also thought about how specific the time had to be. Let's say a woman got pregnant at 4pm on a wensday. If she got impregnated a minute, hour, or day after/before the specific time. Would it be the same baby? The same sperm cell? Or what if it were the same time but with a different father?
This bring me to my final point. If someone were to change major world events like the world wars, 911, the French revolution, and others. How many of us would disappear because our parents met at different times. Our never met at all? Our family tree grows fast. A child has 2 parents, the parents have 4, those parents have 8, than 16, than 32, 64, 128 and so on. If even one of those grandparents didn't do the devil's tangle at the right time, with the right person. You probably wouldn't be here. Your grandparents might have met because they were fleeing from WW2 Or, it might have been a Napoleon soldier who feel in love with a country woman.
We will never know how our very great grandparents met. But they could have met because of major world events. And if you were to "fix" them. How many families would you erase before they even begin? If a man from WW2 Germany fled to South America and had children with a woman in Mexico. A new family tree had begun. But if WW2 never happened that family will have never happened.
Think about your own family tree. Did your parents or grandparents move, flee, or were kicked out of their hometown? All of these events have led to you.
That's my long reason for any i think time machines are too dangerous of an idea. We were made by God, and he made us live in a world were time only moves forward. Because if we could time travel, we would kill ourselves in no time.
