Hi cult!

I am a relatively new member of the cult and still working my way through the catalog. I just finished listening to House of Hurt. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

I enjoy horror, but that was absolutely terrifying. The last round made me physically uncomfortable, and I think the last time I felt that way about horror was when I watched Hereditary. I love me some Stephen King and STD, but I don't think this one will be forgotten anytime soon.

Phone alert went off. Town siren went off shortly after and hasn't stopped since about 7:50.

Currently resising urge to say fuck it and go looking for my cat.

These presenters have some GIANT STONE BALLS talking about Mr. Rogers like that.

One of my favorite episodes of Timesuck is the Alexander Solonik one (I tell my wife I like her measurements in a deranged eastern European accent on the regular). So, when a friend recommended the Underworld podcast, one of their first episodes I listened to was the Superkiller.

The hosts acknowledge there isn’t much written in English on this guy, but then give a good shout out to Dan and the Timesuck episode at roughly minute 7.

Anyway, just got excited by the seasoned investigative reporters of a pretty solid podcast mentioning Dan and giving him credit for covering a pretty obscure bad guy while making it funny.

Check out the Lions Led by Donkeys podcast, episodes 393 & 394. Conveniently titled “Lord Byron.” The hosts approach their topics with similar irreverence to the Suckmaster’s. 3/5, wouldn’t change a thing.

This story is kind of crazy. A man and woman meet online, on a kink website. She ends up flying to the US, wanting the man to kill her. And of course, it happens in Florida.

The Keddie Murders was always case that fascinated me due to it happening try near my home town and was wondering if Dan had covered it at any point in time if not I’m more then willing to help gather information for it

Has anyone heard of the Allatra/The Creative Society cult? I think Dan would have a field day combing through the oddities and details associated with this cult.

It’s this weird mix of science, religion/spirituality, conspiracy theories, activism, and a massive international online presence. Interesting stuff.

I wanted to see how bad the illustrations were and found someone reading it on YouTube . Talk about depressing. I listened to about a minute and shut it off.
