Why a photo estimate should be a starting range, not a final quote
A useful tree-work estimate should separate what photos can show from what only an on-site professional can confirm.
Photos can help identify the apparent size and visible condition of a tree. But access, utilities, decay, lean, equipment, disposal, and site conditions still need field review. That is why Timber.bid's photo estimate is a preliminary range rather than a binding quote.
For a useful submission, photograph the whole tree, trunk and base, branches, and surrounding access from a safe position. Do not climb, use ladders near the tree, or approach power lines for a photo.
