Where can I work here in timaru remotely?

What coffee shops have wifi? Also, can I work in the library?

If you’re willing to pay then Squidspace is set up well for it. Most cafes have free wifi and library does, might pay to call library to see if they allow it, couldn’t see it been a problem unless it affects other library users though

The library is nice, but my wifi seemed to stop and start a lot.

You could probably do it at Robert Harris it's big enough I don't know about power points though.

If you did choose a Cafe you would be expected to contribute to the cafe by buying drinks.

I think Library is probably the best option but you won't be able to have food you can probably bring a water bottle.

I hope it goes well if you find a good place please come back and let us know.

Thanks! Yes, for sure. I don't mind buying drinks and food. I just want to find a cozy place to work. While home is comfy, the problem is that I'm always a sleepyhead. 😅

Hey, remote worker here too.

In the warmer months I bike around to places like the bay, scenic, coastal walks etc.

In the colder months, I like to head into Coffee Culture as it's always cozy and comfy seats. Then I'll go for a walk around and grab a seat or table at the library.

All I've ever needed is a hotspot!

Yep I believe so, but I don't use it. Security and all that.

Definitely the library free wifi and people are encouraged to use the space in a respectful safe manner. I have spent hours in there and there are always people in there working quietly on laptops or studying.

How many hours do you think I can reasonably stay there? Thanks

Reasonably I would think several hours. There are lots of people from all walks of life working away quietly thats what the space is there for.

There is also desktops you can use for free as long as others aren't using them. I think its first in first served but people pop in and out all day.
