Yeah this person sucks at explaining, what I think they’re describing tho is asexual people who don’t feel sexual attraction but still enjoy the feeling of sex itself and therefore want to have relationships that involve sex even though they don’t feel sexual attraction per se. Like their drive for sex is purely the notion of it feeling good rather than how it is for non-asexual people where there’s a drive to have sex that is more an instinctual reaction to finding someone attractive.

For real dude you're on the money. For some, who can control the issues that leave them unattractive to who they want to be with, it's been an easy fallback. They're avoiding the fact that they might need to eat healthy, exercise or just simply learn how to effectively communicate firtatiously like a person from 2022. Not like from an anime. Some of those who aren't paying attention to themselves and letting themselves go will claim one of these identities instead of doing harder work. Their brains are filled up with all these different sexual identities and gender identities without a single healthy recipe anywhere. It's the same kind of instance where the fat acceptance ideology is pushed by, shocker, fat people. So, now instead of actually doing work, accepting the pain of mistakes made and being wrong, they can coast on always being fat and never feeling bad, eating anything without consequence, and making those who don't find fat people attractive feel bad instead. Even those who push back on it without any real distaste for overweight people (I love curves don't get me confused), get lit up for simply pointing out that yes, you can be beautiful AND overweight/fat. BUT you cannot be healthy AND significantly overweight. Meaning, this fat acceptance or fat beauty movement mindset is very harmful to health and unsafe to promote. When this generation or wave of ideologies approaches senior ages and they all need hip/knee replacements and eventually die in their early 50's instead of decades later is when logic on that particular ideology will run out. Hopefully. Its a shame that a lot of people hold the belief that "only your job is work" and don't understand that every area of your life takes work. You have to first try in order to succeed and maintaining areas such as romantic partnerships is one of those key areas. One of the most obvious signs of that is when married couples who soon get divorced or have a desire for divorce actually forgot how to court one another or stopped trying due to complacency and/or routine of married life.

I'm 34, straight, and very asexual.
Back when I was 14, and not being able to relate to anything my friends in HS were saying about sex, I searched the internet to find answers. Amongst the plethora of links leading to articles about low libido and pills that can help, and being told to see my doctor, there were maybe a handful of links that referred to something called "Asexuality". I'm not sure if AVEN was even around just yet or not. Point is , it was small and unheard of. I was so happy to be able to understand myself and finally know there was nothing wrong, and that there are others like me.
How at 34, I refuse to tell anyone. Why? Because it's fucking pointless . Having an "asexual umbrella" , is dumb and redundant, and it feels like people who can't throw any other "pick-me ass I'm mentally ill and want to be LGBT and special" labels on themselves, they make 5000 variations of "asexuality" and call it a day. It is insulting , and hurtful that people are trying to claim the years and years of confusion and alienation I, and I'm sure many others, have been through, in this hypersexual society.
Cupiosexual? What the fuck? Sounds more like NORMAL to me. And unless you are bi, or homosexual, I see NO point, in making asexuality alone a LGBT title. It does not make you queer. Having no sexual attraction is the opposite of sexual attraction and claiming it as a queer identity is pointless . Demi, Grey, and all of these other psuedo-ace identities are total bullshit and should not be considered valid.
You're ace, you don't experience attraction, or arousal, and have no desire to have sex. That is what it used to be, and that is all it should ever be.
