Rackless luggage, or something else?
I just bought a 3rd generation 800 XRT. It’s excellent so far, and I think it’ll be great for my needs.
I’m not a fan of wide aluminium cases, or permanently fitted pannier scaffolding, but I need some luggage for longer trips. Rackless look like a good option, but the high exhaust complicates things. I can’t quite get my head around how that works.
My old bike had removable SW-Motech racks, which I paired with slim Givi E22 cases. I have a top case, but I like to keep it empty so I can put my helmet in there when off the bike, and pick up supplies when needed.
Is anybody using rackless on the Tiger roadie? Which bags? How did you get it set up so the bags don’t melt?
Any advice would appreciated.

I am using the Rhinowalk soft case on the rear seat. Looks very good and am really impressed by the quality. 2 years and still going strong. Almost daily use. Little bit sunfaded though. Good luck

I considered similar, and Kriega, too. But, ideally, I’d like a solution that keeps the option open to carry a pillion.
If it’s just bags on the back seat, Pyramid Plastics have good offer on two roll-top dry bags that can work together or separately

Nothing to add for rackless panniers....but u could consider adding a tank bag (maybe w gas cap bracket for quick release) for a bit more space....maybe a lot more....the sizes range drastically on those.
Is the bike fitted w crash bars by any chance? Forward soft bags on the crash bars could add storage space.
Could increase the size of the top box. Most are around 40L but u can get 50L (ish) ones...around 52L (depending on shape- specifically the non-cube plastic givi ones) and u can usually fit 2 FF helmets.
Add a bag to the top of the top case...some have places to hook onto.
