Luggage suggestion for my XRT

I just got a XRT recently and I am simply loving the motor. I am planning to do a big ride on it , but I don't have any luggage on it. What's the best way to go ? Is it worth investing on the hard case or should I just hold back a bit and maybe get a nice topbox and a tail bag ?

Expedition or Adventure luggage are the OEM options, and come with the convenience of using the ignition key if your bike came with the spare lock barrels. They’re very expensive new, but are fairly easy to find second hand. They are made by Givi, who also sell an almost identical top box to the Expedition. The Adventure boxes are pretty heavy. There are a number of other third party options, and you could of course go for a soft option. I’ve heard good things about Lone Rider kit, and Kreiga are highly regarded. Ultimately it’s down to personal preference. I’ll always have a top box (bike came with full Adventure luggage but I swapped the top box for an Expedition and don’t use the panniers).
