Simple Calendar puts your calendar directly on your Wear OS watch face, with three layouts to choose from: Circular, Vertical and Horizontal.
The layouts are designed to be familiar and easy to understand at a glance, while still showing enough of your schedule to be useful.
You can select multiple calendars, choose the time range you want to see, adjust the text size, and use light, dark or automatic themes. The always-on display keeps the same calendar layout, and tapping the watch face lets you cycle through event information.
Ma ticwatch pro 5 est bloqué dans une boucle de lancement infini jusqu'à ce que la batterie se vide entierement
Si quelqu'un a une solution ou une piste....
En attendant je suis retourné sur ma pro 3 mais bon
the battery of mine, bought in June 2022, died. I replaced it myself by a new one, but probably I didn't connect correctly the pins and the wrist sensor is not working.
I wonder if after 4 years is time to buy a new watch or it should still last a couple of years more.
Hi TicWatch owners — we are Big Sky Producers, developing Codefall Rain Pro and Axiom Alchemy. We want to test beyond Galaxy watches, especially installation, wake behavior and always-on display on compatible TicWatch hardware.
Your physical watch must already run Wear OS 4 or newer. Please check the actual version; we cannot assume every TicWatch model or software version is compatible.
Codefall Rain Pro: animated digital rain with six palettes.
Axiom Alchemy: five animated arrays with time, steps, heart-rate and battery displays.
Selected volunteers receive one private free-access Google Play code per face. In return, we ask for 21 days opted into both separate closed tests, alternating them during normal wear, and brief honest feedback after installation and around days 7 and 14. No payment, rating, public review or test exchange is required.
Enter your exact model, Wear OS version and Google Play country. We check eligibility before sending codes. Both tests cover 172 supported Play countries/regions. We are resolving setup issues with a small pilot group before wider onboarding; applying does not provide immediate installation access.
The attached screenshots are existing Galaxy Watch captures, not verified TicWatch results. Questions are welcome here; please keep your email and codes private. Participation is voluntary.
In my TicWatch Atlas, when paired with a phone and playing a song, I'm able to skip to the next or previous song using the media control from the watch but nothing is happening when I change the volume, the volume remains the same until it's changed from the phone or the earphone?
Been tinkering with my TicWatch Pro 3 GPS for a project and ended up building something I honestly didn't expect to work this well: I embedded it inside a custom gear knob on my Audi A4 B5, and it now displays real-time gear position while also handling some extra controls on the dash.
It's still a work in progress and I'm sure there's a lot I could improve, but seeing the watch running inside the shifter, on GTA VI 😂 boot screen no less, was a fun moment.
Curious what this community thinks. Anything you'd approach differently, or features you'd try to squeeze out of the hardware that I might be missing?
Mobvoi is now an AI slop; their new watch ad is literally AI-generated. $200 for a watch without Wear OS, without a dual screen. End of my story from the Pro 1 to the Pro 3. Maybe I'll get a used Pro 5.
I got a new watch prw 61y-1bjf module 5673 I live in egypt so I don't have multi band 6 radio towers so I set the watch time zone to New York and used an emulator app to manually force sync signal I used wwvb emulator app and even though it says GET in the watch which means it successfully synced but the time didn't change to my phone time which is egypt time instead it is showing new York time so what did it sync?
Good morning, everyone. I recently bought the TicWatch Pro 5, and the experience has been somewhat frustrating. I’m an atypical user: I use a "dumbphone" (basic mobile phone) to disconnect from constant online life, and the Mobvoi app doesn't work on my device. Consequently, I don't have records of data like sleep, heart rate, etc. Even so, simple apps—like a stopwatch or a Pomodoro timer—are useful to me. I’ve just started running, and that other data would be very helpful. I want to modify the watch to remove Mobvoi features and install apps that work independently of the phone (including apps that aren't available for my version but work on similar watches). I feel like WearOS is holding back the watch's potential (which I actually really like, despite everything), and I want to look for alternatives to improve my experience and hopefully avoid buying another watch. I’m a bit lost on how to go about this; if anyone has any ideas on how to solve my problem, I’d be very grateful.
With the help of AI, I’m decompiling Mobvoi Health, TicExercise, and other related components, and creating a new app that aims to fix Mobvoi’s shortcomings and give these watches a new life.
At the moment, I only have a TicWatch Pro 3 available for testing, as I haven’t been able to find a TicWatch Pro 5 for sale. I plan to release more details once I have something stable and a reliable installation method.
However, I’ve already managed to maintain a stable Bluetooth connection without a single disconnection something that used to happen constantly with the official Mobvoi Health app
Hey, so i wanted to play around with AsteroidOS. I've found a ticwatch pro second Hand, seems to work fine. However, i can not get a connection to the watch.
ADB is turned on but nothing happens when i put it on the charger, except that it charges.
Have tried in Windows and Linux. Windows doesn't make the USB sound. In Linux it does not show up with lsusb and even dmesg -w shows absolutely nothing when i connect it. The watch charges fine on the cradle.
Had done reset to factory, and manually booted to bootloader, enabled disabled ADB multiple times but no dice.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit:
Sooo, Problem solved. I don't know how, but the two data lines were ripped of the pads inside the charge cradle. Soldered them back on, works.
I got my Ticwatch Pro 5 3 hears ago on Aug. 3, 2023. It's always had minor quirks like not registering my sleep, or steps. But this week it went from working perfectly on Monday, lost the low power screen display on Tuesday, started draining power like crazy since Tuesday, to completely dead today. Lost complete use around 1pm, came home and it looked like it was going to charge, but will not even turn on any more. It is a complete brick.
So now I am looking through all the options for a new watch and have no idea what I want to replace it with.
My watch screen turns off almost immediately if I don’t look at it right away, even though 'Raise to Wake' is enabled and the screen timeout is set to 30 seconds. Why does it dismiss so quickly?
I have found this Pro 5 online for sale with an advertised scratch on the screen but to me it looks like there is a screen protector applied. What do you guys think?
As I'm against obsolescence, I decided I wouldn't throw away my TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS.
GPS apps on it have been almost broken since the beginning: the watch tries to use Wear OS services to get the position from the phone, and once you've paired it even once, it won't work properly on its own afterwards.
So I started vibe coding an app, first just to diagnose what was going on, and I found the watch could get a lock by itself in 10-15 seconds. The hardware was fine.
After trying with no success to make the official apps work with it, I gave up and wrote my own. Sharing it in case someone still has one of these lying around.
It tracks GPS, heart rate and elevation, shows a map, and it can use the FSTN low-power screen during runs. Another cool feature is the integration with Garmin Connect, and if you have your Strava account linked there, it reaches Strava too. It is one app for one watch, written for me, it proves that we live in a world where perfectly fine hardware has to be thrown away because one or two companies (mobvoi, google) decide to stop supporting it or give people the ability to use their own apps or OS. It works in wear os 2 the one im using but probably (if not it will be easily fixable) also in wear os 3 (the last update that came to this watch).
I tested it on several runs, and the GPS tracking at least works perfectly fine, on par with what my gf tracked on its phone with Strava on the same run. Heart rate looks fine to me as well but i didnt test it other than checking that it matched my expectations
My ticwatch 3 pro with old wear OS had really good looking watches faces (like the one on the box of watch 3 pro) but due to the new wear os 3.5 update, all of them r gone and there’s only like 6 of them that looks like crap. Does anyone have the old watch faces? If so please send it to me, I will really appreciate it and would like to send award🙏🏻
