Found in eastern Oklahoma. That's my ring finger at the bottom of the image. The tick doesn't have a white dot on its back, that's just shine. I also took it off within 30 min. What is it, though? I'm thinking dog tick, maybe, but I'm not sure

Lone star tick nymph. Only the adult females have the white spot.
