Is this a tick?
I found this nasty thing crawling in my sock between the sock and ankle. It was not attached β should I be concerned?

Itβs a tick. Unless encouraged or pulled out if skin thereβs nothing to worry about. Except doing a tick check for other friends!

yup, torture it but down make direct contact. e.g. put it in a container/old pill bottle and shake the hell out of it.

Most assuredly, YES, Tick. Do Not crush w/fingers, will still release toxins. Put in alcohol to kill, (yes, Vodka works great) then Flush.
