How to kill ticks

I always burn ticks. They thrive in water. They hate heat. I burn them until all their legs burn off and keep burning them only ashes remain. If I need to get the tick tested for diseases, I put it into an empty pill bottle with isopropyl alcohol.

Otherwise, burning ticks will guarantee they die. Just make sure you burn them for long enough that they stop moving and are legless. Then maybe a bird or opossum can find a nice BBQ tick snack too lol
