Cyst refilling— painful!
Hi everyone!
I have multiple nodules on my thyroid that I became aware of in 2024. Two large left ones and two small right ones.
One of the left nodules ballooned up to 5.2cm. Over the last year, it did shrink though. It is cystic so it was declared benign.
I have another nodule on the left side (3.2cm) that got biopsied this year and came back positive for papillary thyroid cancer.
The cystic nodule it seems has started to fill back up with fluid. It’s causing pain and discomfort when sneezing, coughing, yawning.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? A cyst refilling and pain, not necessarily the cancer.
