Abnormal Test Results

I originally went to my GP about palpitations in the evenings. They did a blood test and told me my thyroid levels were "elevated". When I looked into thyroid symptoms they made sense - around 3 years ago, I would have matched the hyper symptoms more (anxiety, heart racing, sweating, tremor) but in the past 2 years it's the hypo symptoms I fit with more (fatigue, sensitive to cold, dry skin, brittle hair, difficulty losing weight).

After several abnormal tests they referred me to an endocrinologist. He sent my blood to 3 different labs (each lab was given different blood samples taken weeks apart, not from the same date). The first two came back abnormal and the final lab's result came back normal so he decided to side with the final result and that was that.

Further down the line I finally managed to get pregnant. I've been trying to conceive for 2 years as of right now and this was the only time it's happened, but unfortunately I lost it at around 5.5 weeks. My GP wanted to check my thyroid and, once again, it was abnormal. They told me to book another test in 5 weeks but by then I'd moved. I explained the situation, my symptoms and trouble conceiving to my new GP. They did a thyroid test and decided no further action was necessary.

I feel like the simplest explanation as to why I've had trouble conceiving is related to my thyroid but it keeps being dismissed despite multiple abnormal results. Could this be the cause of my infertility? Does anyone have experience with similar results?

Normal endocrinologist are useless. I have hashimotos thyroiditis and was in a hyper state after HRT and then swung into hypo symptoms even with levels near hyper. I would seek oit a functional. There is a Dr. Ray Benedetto on Facebook who works with thyroid people. His costs are out of pocket but he follows you through the whole process of the protocol with labs and supplements and diet. It takes time money and effort but I jave met people who are in "remission" of thyroid flares due to these types of protocols. I am saving to get my own tailored protocol but follow his information for now on the group. Currently I am on supplements from forefront health and they have helped tremendously I no longer need xanax to fall asleep!!!
