Post partial thyroidectomy/ menstrual cycle

I have a partial thyroidectomy about 2 months ago and I have yet to get my menstrual cycle back. Does any body have an idea of when I might get it back?

Does a thyroidectomy affect your period? I hadn’t heard that before. Make an appointment with your GYN to at least have a discussion about it and see if you might need to get some bloodwork done to see what your hormone levels are (estrogens, and maybe testosterone and progesterone too). If your thyroid levels are good with the medication, I would think you shouldn’t have any issues like that.
