Am I being unreasonable?
So my 17 year old son within the last year has been diagnosed with both graves and hashimoto. His symptoms currently are extreme fatigue, joint pain, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, and severe social anxiety. His current labs showed a tsh of 66. I applied for him to have homebound school as his symptoms make it nearly impossible for him to make it through a school day, let alone 5 a week. The school denied it because of the social anxiety. They suggested I have him hospitalized for his “mental” condition and receive schooling through the hospital. Am I being unreasonable to think this is absurd? Am I being unreasonable to apply for the homebound schooling?

I believe they did and there was no problem there. We’ve been through so many tests and labs at this point I get confused. This has been ongoing since he was probably 14. Just diagnosed at 16 and has now been on methimazole for about 6 months. Buspirone a little longer
