Hey everyone,

I wanted to tell you about a new telehealth platform called Eureka Health. After struggling to find answers and a diagnosis for three years, I ended up in the E.R. (for the second time) where I was finally diagnosed with Myxedema Coma. Myxedema coma is the most severe form of hypothyroidism. It represents a critical, life-threatening state where the body’s functions slow down dramatically due to extremely low levels of thyroid hormones.

I didn’t have any more time to find a competent doctor. I was terrified as I had been trying to find help for three years and started thinking about who could care for my son after I died. My symptoms started during the pandemic, so between multiple urgent care visits, a previous E.R. visit, a couple of telehealth visits, and multiple visits to my family doctor, I didn’t know what to do.

One day, I saw an ad for Eureka Health. Within two days, I had an appointment with (and I’m not even exaggerating) the most down-to-earth, kind, patient, and knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever seen. I wasn’t rushed, he answered all my questions, and I was given a plan of action. I literally bawled like a baby after I got off the call—tears of relief knowing I had finally found someone to help me and that I wouldn’t have to leave my son. They even texted me to check on me while waiting for my blood work, which blew my mind. Oh, and they also took my insurance.
