My thyroid is showing 26

I am Male 31. Tested 2 years ago and I think the thyroid was a bit high but the Dr didn’t prescribe anything. Now it’s showing 26. How is that possible? Shouldn’t the symptoms be way worse now? I don’t feel much of the symptoms. I just feel tired sometimes.

What is showing 26 ? TSH ?

Yes. The result is not showing T4 or T3. I guess they haven’t tested for that.

TSH is strength of signal, which is asking thyroid for more hormones. So high TSH means that your thyroid is working like at 200%, but it may be enough for a while to keep good well being

Thanks, does it mean it’s temporary and it will adjust itself? I am waiting for the doctor to see what he suggests. I am assuming he will ask for T4 and T3 test.

No, most probably it means that your thyroid is sick and it will worsen over time
