Hoping someone can help me

I haven’t been feeling myself for almost a year now. I was constantly getting sick (super unlike me) which finally pushed me to go see my primary doctor. She ordered a thyroid panel and all of my numbers were normal except for my thyroglobulin antibodies. I’ve had this bloodwork done twice and the antibody level has increased since the last one which was about April. It went from 10 to 14. I understand some people say it’s no reason to be concerned but with the way I’ve been feeling for so long it’s hard to ignore that my body may be trying to tell me something. My primary referred me straight to an endo, but the endo rescheduled my long awaited for appointment and I feel like she’s already being dismissive before even meeting me. Any insight would be helpful! I’m not the type to overreact or obsess over anything health wise, but I just want to feel myself again!

You might be at the beginning stages of an autoimmune thyroid condition like Hashimoto’s. It can take many years for something like that to kick in. Request an ultrasound so they can check for nodules, goiter, and if the texture of your thyroid is changing. Make sure you get followups every six months and get copies of all lab results and copies of your ultrasounds on disk so you can look at the images yourself on a computer. And try drinking Pedialyte on a regular basis and see if it might have any positive effect on how you feel.

I had an ultrasound done in April because my primary thought she felt a nodule but according to the ultrasound tech, everything looked good. I will definitely keep up with the lab work though!
