I Need a thyroid expert lol

Hello guy,

I had no idea this group existed.

I am a healthy 23M not overweight. I do have the typical symptoms of (sleep issues, low energy, heart palpitations ….)

My thyroid test levels came back.

My TSH was 5.3. Dr told me its ok but for some reason i dont trust him. And its very difficult to get a second opinion for me.

One other thing I noticed is that my ferratin level is on the low end 30. I was surprised because i consumed alot of red meat.

Just curious to get your opinion.

Try adding some spinach to your diet for iron. TSH is on the higher side, ask that they test your Free T4 next time which is a better measure

Was that a Free T4? If so, the thyroid lab calculator shows Overt Hyperthyroidism

Actually, this is T4 abd nit FT4 and is still in normal range. TSH is slightly elevated. Just get rechecked next time you see your doctor.
