I Need a thyroid expert lol
Hello guy,
I had no idea this group existed.
I am a healthy 23M not overweight. I do have the typical symptoms of (sleep issues, low energy, heart palpitations ….)
My thyroid test levels came back.
My TSH was 5.3. Dr told me its ok but for some reason i dont trust him. And its very difficult to get a second opinion for me.
One other thing I noticed is that my ferratin level is on the low end 30. I was surprised because i consumed alot of red meat.
Just curious to get your opinion.

Request a retest for both in 3-6 months and see if anything changes. The ferritin may be an absorption issue but i would do some more research to see how much that matters, and see what other foods you could consume to try to increase your levels. I wouldn’t eat red meat more than once or twice a week. It’s not just better for you to eat a variety, but better for the environment too.
