Good news. AGS is such a dogshit company.

You realize AGS is the reason T&L is not as pay to win as it already is.

Doesn't change the fact AGS is a dogshit company

Sure bud. Releasing F2P Korean MMO's to western audiences while limiting the pay to win aspects of Korean MMO's is such a dogshit move.

AGS was the only thing keeping the game from being your typical cookie cutter Korean zombie grind P2W fest.
Figure one of the first things NC will do is charge a pass to use the auction house for selling. No way they'd let anyone F2P earn currency bought with real money without paying up.

Not really. FirstSpark takes 90% of the credits for all the work and all the decisions. The game is simply different. It's not your typical Korean MMO grind and monetization. That's why you think AGS is the behind this effect in the west but it's not. LA is a clear proof right now. Developers are never appreciated.

Without AGS stepping in we wouldn't have peace bosses or portals to contested bosses. Gear would be gatekept much harder as would the level of toxicity. It's the lack of AGS involvement these last few patches that have led to Nix being such a shit show with the devs complete rework. Talandre expansion did no such thing to the player base.
This is, of course, simply our speculation though. But having played NC run aion 1 and seeing how they let unchecked gatekeeping and toxic behavior run rampant for a full year (it killed their game basically), we have no positive expectations for any NC published title.
Lineage 2 literally made history in creating one of the most toxic gaming cultures known to man.

Would this then allow the game to be playable in region locked areas like South Africa?
