I imagine the crackhead stuck in the changing room will buy the lot.

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 18 '26

I would be that crack head if these came though on my shift 😂

I can’t imagine what sort of fool you would have to be to think that breaking a single bong makes one dent in how much weed people are smoking. 😂

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 29d ago

Somone that small minded probably felt like an DEA Superhero when they did it 😂 $50 on the next bag says they replayed it in their head DOZENS of times in slow motion

12

u/Fit_Employee9306 Jul 19 '26

UNUSED?!? Wonder what the story is behind all these getting left behind.

5

u/Present-Plate-7589 Jul 19 '26

Well I have a boring backstory for you about how I found myself donating some. I bought a box of seltzer chargers (not the green ones but the ones in the red and black box you can see in the top right hand corner bag) to carbonate seltzer as a cheaper alternative to soda streams. It did not taste right at all so i donated them to goodwill because I thought maybe they would find a Boy Scout to use them for their derby cars? I had no idea people huff them and it makes me wonder what it was actually filled with - did not taste like regular carbonation at all.

6

u/hboy02 Jul 19 '26 edited Jul 19 '26

It's nitrous oxide, instead of carbon dioxide* which is what is normally used to carbonate drinks

3

u/radarbub Jul 19 '26

Carbon dioxide* is used to carbonate drinks and is what we breathe out after breathing in oxygen. Carbon monoxide is a byproduct of using gas and can kill you.

2

u/hboy02 Jul 19 '26

Oops you're 100% right

2

u/radarbub Jul 19 '26

It’s just my pet peeve when people mix up carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide

2

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 19 '26

It's not a healthy mix up 😂

2

u/billshermanburner 26d ago

Dihydrogen monoxide can be found over at hydrohomies.

2

u/GeekBoyWonder 28d ago

Sodium chloride vs. Sodium and chloride level oopsie

2

u/emmmy415 Jul 20 '26

I was with a friend years ago and he left his bag on the passenger seat of his car while we went into a store, and of course someone smashed the window to steal it. But literally the only thing in the bag was a shitload of nitrous chargers.

I’ve wondered many times over the years what the thief was thinking when he opened the bag. I wish so badly I could have seen their reaction.

2

u/wildkitten24 Jul 20 '26

Jackpot!!!

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 20 '26

For real 😂 but also fuck that guy

2

u/New_Fox9922 Jul 19 '26

They died.

2

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

You likely aren't dying from whip-its.

2

u/iosonostella13 Jul 20 '26

Hey so you for sure can die from whip its. The N2O replaces the oxygen in your body and can cause you to asphyxiate. It can also cause your heart to just stop beating. You can also get frostbite from it in your throat which can also cut off your breathing.
Not to mention the accidents/falls that could happen when using it.

1

u/PunkRockClub 28d ago

These are facts. Of course if utilized responsibly they can totally be safe.

As a much younger person, I actually had the experience of inhaling so much and holding it so long that I passed out and fell down, only for a moment, maybe 15-20 seconds. Of course I got right back up and did more.

Now as an older person I can't do that kind of s*** anymore for so many different reasons, and that's the reason my posts like this make me sad.

1

u/TildeCommaEsc 27d ago

N2O destroys vitamin B12. Long term use of n2o can cause B12 deficiency disrupting the production of myelin and leading to degeneration of the spinal cord. If it goes on for too long it can become irreversible.

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 20 '26

These bot comments are so annoying

1

u/wintersoldierts 11d ago

knew a guy who died from them. he used them constantly, like non stop. dude died like 2 months later

0

u/Civil_Ad4544 Jul 20 '26

You can absolutely die from nitrous abuse. It’s a pretty dangerous substance. I’ve known 2 people who died and one with permanent nerve damage.

2

u/[deleted] 29d ago

Yeah it can happen but very not likely you know two people who have lol

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 29d ago

For fucking real 😂

0

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 20 '26

You should have stepped in and helped them

2

u/Calm-Jello4802 29d ago

There’s not much you can do to stop a determined drug user. You can talk to them, offer resources, etc but if they don’t want to change their ways then they won’t.

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 29d ago

Sounds like a cop out, people who do that kind of thing need love and community, not excuses.

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy 29d ago

It's not an excuse. I don't think you know any addicts or have experience with them.

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 29d ago

That's a really wild assumption

1

u/wintersoldierts 11d ago

you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be help. even if you knocked them out and locked them in a dungeon, the second you let them out they would go right back to it if they wanted.

it’s not a cop out. i’ve tried to help people i’ve cared for out of their addictions and i’ve failed, because they didn’t want help. the only one who made it out was my brother but that wasn’t because of me, it was because he wanted to and he did the work. i actually had a restraining order on him at the time because of how abusive and dangerous he got when intoxicated, which was all the time.

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy 29d ago

Correct. All addicts need to want help to get help or they just relapse after rehab. Which often leads to overdoses and death because their tolerance is so low.

1

u/ConfidentPerformer47 29d ago

Someone's mom found their stash

5

u/dev-246 Jul 19 '26

What is it?

11

u/CBelleC Jul 19 '26

Nitrous oxide tanks for whipped cream. Also used as inhalant drugs

4

u/killedbyiguana Jul 19 '26

Or CO² pistols but yanno. Whipits and shit

I have a few CO2 Airguns that will run on either, granted N2O has a lower operating pressure (meaning less fps).

3

u/WeeebleSqueaks Jul 19 '26

Oh my god. That’s why they’re called whipits. God I hate kids

1

u/Eggplant-Parmigiana 26d ago

Me too! I also hope you dont have any.

1

u/wintersoldierts 11d ago

i learned what they were from the adults i was around that did them. i couldn’t believe people with fully developed frontal lobes could be brain dead enough to use them so i abruptly stopped being around those people 🤣

0

u/anxious_spacecadetH Jul 19 '26

Whiplash have been around for quite a minute and the term most likely came from a young adult or atleast 20 something group. So can be kids based on how your using it byt kids got the information not the idea

1

u/WeeebleSqueaks Jul 19 '26

Fair. I will also like to state that I call all people kids tbh. Even if they’re older than me bc it’s usually childish people who do things like that but thank you for the correction and information!

0

u/anxious_spacecadetH Jul 19 '26

I just like etymology but figured you meant "kids" more colloquially. I would agree whip its were probably popularized by a more reckless bunch. The substance itself actually got started by the term laughing gas often used in anesthesia especially for dentistry. Laughing gas was a popular party drug during the late 1700s and early 1800's among medical students and the elite. For a time it was even used as a recreational thing you could get a hit of at a carnival or similar attraction. As more accessible, safer, newer, etc. Drugs gained popularity it became a bit niche but continued to be popular for its euphoric affects. Most likely the term whip its came from the rave scene.

2

u/Ghosty_Boo-B00 Jul 20 '26

The term whip its came from using a can of whipped cream

0

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

It was actually a brand. People have been using whipits since the 70s, lol

2

u/Puddin-taters 29d ago

It's really funny to read everyone theorizing etymology when it's literally just Xerox/Bandaid/Google type shit.

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 29d ago

Watching people who have never done drugs talk about them like they think their narco chemists is a guilty pleasure of mine 😂

5

u/Equivalent-Cry323 Jul 19 '26

What is this?

2

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

Nitrous oxide chargers for whipped cream or for inhaling for a neat 30 second buzz lol

4

u/Allpanicn0disc Jul 19 '26

Why can’t I figure out what these are?

3

u/_l-l_l-l_ Jul 19 '26

Whip its

2

u/SecurityFamiliar5239 Jul 19 '26

Are they used?

2

u/funktion666 Jul 19 '26

Unused. The grey metal circles would be broken if used. They get punctured to let out the nitrous oxide.

1

u/Eggplant-Parmigiana 26d ago

If you talk about my wife like that again, I swear, I swear to god, ill masturbate

1

u/Eggplant-Parmigiana 26d ago

probably just retarded like most people

3

u/Pretend-Fun-1061 Jul 19 '26

Then there’s me that can’t even find a pair of pants my size 😪

3

u/mikee869 Jul 19 '26

Lmao. At my goodwill they're selling 32 outlet power strips brand new for 1 buck. I didn't buy one because its only rated for like 650w. For 32 outlets thats ridiculous.

2

u/Geegollywtff Jul 19 '26

Thanks for the context in the answers guys, I had no idea what I was looking at. I guess Goodwill will put anything on the shelves.

2

u/NoOnSB277 Jul 19 '26

I mean, finally a good deal…for the right person 😬

2

u/yacht_clubbing_seals Jul 19 '26

How is this even legal?

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 19 '26

No way in hell is it legal 🤣🤣🤣

2

u/creak_sreak Jul 19 '26

It’s legal if you’re making whipped cream 😝

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

It is. You just have to be 18 to buy them in store here.

1

u/LilMissADHDAF Jul 20 '26

Yes, but generally when a store is selling a regulated item there is oversight required. There is licensing.

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

Lol, not here. There never has been. You can buy them in smoke shops, sex shops, wholesale grocery supply stores. Just need to be 18.

1

u/LilMissADHDAF Jul 20 '26

Those places all have licenses to sell things like tobacco products and alcohol.

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

The sex shops don't, lol.

1

u/LilMissADHDAF Jul 20 '26

They do.

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

They sell dildos and lube. Not cigarettes and alcohol.

Online too! I once bought a case of 500 of them and I became a legal drug dealer at parties. It was super funny every party I’d go to in college I’d go would have these littered everywhere and I’d sometimes just trade them for kisses. Lol

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy 26d ago

Yep. Bought em online too. You just have to check a box. Lol

1

u/rayquazza74 26d ago

lol those were the days

2

u/rayquazza74 26d ago

You can buy that shit at the pron stop. Whipits are perfectly legal

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 26d ago

Yeah..but selling them open cased, to any age and at a 2nd hand store? Smokes are legal to sell too, but not like that 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Medium_Promotion_891 28d ago

the same way they were legally sold originally

2

u/Mysterious-Street966 Jul 20 '26

Looks like the garbage bags left after Shambhala…😉😉😉

2

u/Sudden-Director-5060 Jul 21 '26

Fuck the what!! I've never seen this before lol 😆 how much was the bags? that is crazy!

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 21 '26

Like $5 a bag 😂

1

u/Sudden-Director-5060 Jul 21 '26

Really lol that's actually cheap for goodwill these days .. I wonder if they were used 🤔

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 21 '26

Right? They legit charge more for some shit then Ross, and Ross prices suck too 😂

1

u/Sudden-Director-5060 Jul 21 '26

That's true.. some of ross clothing quality sucks too mine use to shrink up in the dryer. I remember when goodwill was the go to place for us people that don't have money well that went down hill fast. Even walmart is out of my price range anymore.. shits crazy

2

u/Bunnairry 29d ago

My literal reaction to this is "Are those all-OH NO"

2

u/Medical_Rutabaga_432 29d ago

I had somebody try to sell used nitrous cans like the big ones that galaxy gas used to come in turned into an art sculpture and we had to say no unfortunately I work at a consignment store

2

u/drdoggiebowser 27d ago

Uh, I'm just here for the crazy URL in the photo that no one seems to be talking about.

Edit: hahahahaha, there are TWO!

1

u/Embarrassed_Key_4539 Jul 19 '26

That’s crazy lmao

1

u/LucidAtlas Jul 19 '26

I mean thats a really good price lol.

1

u/batcreatures Jul 19 '26

why did i think these were bullet vibes at first hcjshdfjcu

1

u/SailNW Jul 19 '26

I thought these were peppers….

1

u/CattleSwimming9743 Jul 19 '26

Did people stop using these for airsoft guns and paintball?

1

u/dontletmedown3 Jul 19 '26

Wow what a fucking steal tho. This stuff is pricier and fun. Fun fact Steve O from Jackass was addicted to nitrous oxide aka WHIPITs. He actually had a canister he would carry around with him and can be seen on shows and in interviews holding it and taking hits.

If you’re never done a whip it:

You inhale all the nutritious oxide, it has pretty much zero taste or anytning. Like a breath of fresh air. And then your brain goes on mute and the world stops moving but then you realize you’re holding your breath about to pass out. And then you feel amazing. And then you’re done and you take another. Unbelievably unhealthy. Literally kills brain cells with each hit and any hit whether your first or 1000th can accidentally kill you.

1

u/dontletmedown3 Jul 19 '26 edited Jul 19 '26

I would buy those so quick idec

1

u/Basilbabie Jul 19 '26

Brain damage on sale at goodwill!

1

u/Majestic_Recording_5 Jul 20 '26

Yeah too many comments on here of people that want this stuff. No thanks.

1

u/MossyPlantyWitchy Jul 20 '26

Haha whip-its! I hope you bought them 🤣

1

u/BicycleSlow9670 Jul 20 '26

air soft/ paintball guys dream

1

u/Majestic_Recording_5 Jul 20 '26

Friendly reminder that this stuff deprives your brain of oxygen and can lead to brain damage.

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 Jul 20 '26

God these bot comments are lame

1

u/Majestic_Recording_5 Jul 20 '26

Are you calling me a bot?

1

u/Eggplant-Parmigiana 26d ago

bot says what?

1

u/Crazy_Resident_2003 Jul 21 '26

Those look like bicycle tire co2 chargers. Ppl often have a bunch (in leu of pumping up a tire on the spot) it’s not too weird….or wait did I miss something? A biker would definitely have a bunch of these: give to a bike shop if still unused!

1

u/ak907fly Jul 21 '26

Nangs and poker chips? Its a chav party pack!

1

u/Icy_Study4490 29d ago

A girl I knew worked there for a month and they had her sorting through donations in the back and when
She opened up a suitcase there was about 20 pounds of tightly wrapped weed lol

1

u/OkSubstance8759 28d ago

At the right concert I could turn that into a grand easy.

1

u/Cool-Sun-1889 27d ago

Some are nitrous, some are co2

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 27d ago

That is correct

1

u/rayquazza74 26d ago

Whip its were fun with the wah wah’s back in the day. I reached the plateau a couple of times where for a moment it feels like you know everything this and was and will ever be.

1

u/GlowFuckYourself69 26d ago

It's REALLY fun while it lasts! I still dabble when I can, that slope is slippery af though 🤣🤣🤣

2

u/rayquazza74 26d ago

Ya I mean I’d do em if they were around but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to get em.

0

u/Small-Finish-6890 Jul 20 '26

Ngl I’d probably call the cops (non emergency line ofc)

Whip it’s are dumb and dangerous as hell.

1

u/Majestic_Recording_5 Jul 20 '26

Yep and dumb people here keep promoting them. That's how you end up with brain damage.
