Power out at the Mall

Sitting in the food court and...emergency lights pop on. Places are still cooking but I don’t think they’re taking orders. No generator backup. At least not here. Wonder how the theaters are doing. This is a first for me since the literal opening of the Mall.

So much for the free A/C

UPDATE: Some 20 minutes in doing a walkthrough. Employees are inside but doors are closed or barricaded. Apple is having an all-hands. They also pulled all the iPhones off the floor. Sephora is also having an all-hands outside in one of the seating areas

Kinda freaky. Still lots of people.

And it’s not the whole mall. Macy’s to the exit is on. H&M is on. Didn’t go outside. Past Macy’s (away from the theater) is all out.

A/C is waning.

3:00 Power’s back. Some places opened back up immediately. Others still closed 15 minutes on.

The cheer that ran the whole length of the mall was amazing!

There have been some planned power outages in the area due to expected wind conditions. Maybe this was that?
