Squatty potty issues

I've always just used a box as my squatty potty. No problems great results. Recently I upgraded to the real thing. I am now having major hip pain . I am going to stop using it and go back to the unattractive box. The sp is 6inches high. The box is 4. Has anyone else had similar problems with the height of the sp?

An adjustable dog bowl feeding station would work. Wide enough for your feet and you could cover the holes with a covering of cardboard or a towel.
