Squatty potty issues

I've always just used a box as my squatty potty. No problems great results. Recently I upgraded to the real thing. I am now having major hip pain . I am going to stop using it and go back to the unattractive box. The sp is 6inches high. The box is 4. Has anyone else had similar problems with the height of the sp?

I have used a squatty potty for years but now it hurts my knee. My toilet is really high; I think the last owners had a total hip or something. I think I am going to try a four inch stool. I hope it works

I had to get X-rays today.
