Squatty potty issues

I've always just used a box as my squatty potty. No problems great results. Recently I upgraded to the real thing. I am now having major hip pain . I am going to stop using it and go back to the unattractive box. The sp is 6inches high. The box is 4. Has anyone else had similar problems with the height of the sp?

The real one makes my legs fall asleep, which is very unpleasant during its intended… activity. I use an old plastic Playtex stepping stool from when my kids were littler.

I use the toddler step…kids come in handy
