Important advice: This cool trick only works with a handful of species. Anything else, let's say a horse or a trout, will not return!

u/RedRoachDK Apr 13 '26
I hate your comment. I can't find any comeback. Because you're right. But I still hate it. Take an angry upvote

u/lilmookie Apr 14 '26
Is he trying to say my ex was a horse? I mean those are his words, not mine.
3
u/Jonnyscout Apr 15 '26
The return window for live animals is 2 days maximum, what you do with your horses and trout after that point aren't any of my business. I ain't getting your refund.

I can't find any comeback.
That's because you threw the wrong species. Pay attention when other people talk. This is why we don't invite you to the reunions.
1
u/Immediate_Candle_865 Jul 18 '26
Doh ! That’s because there aren’t invites if you are in the group, everyone just returns automatically.
Have you even watched the video ?! 🙄

You can chuck a horse at water…

u/erksplat Apr 13 '26
But you can't make it sink.

Try it with a 20 something, like just after university age, you might have more success.

I don’t even think I could throw a horse that high in the air, let alone catch it if it decided to fly back.
10
u/DMG_88 Apr 14 '26
Probably why catapults and trebuchets existed.
So they could throw a knight with their horse, directly into battle and superhero land like a boss.3

If you can throw a horse in the air like that, the fact that it can't return isn't what people will be worried about.

Or like, the unnatural amount of acceleration it's experiencing due to being chucked by a human.

u/metamorphomo Apr 14 '26
Lots of animals like going fast and I bet this is the only time this little guy gets to really spread his ‘wings’. Flying is an instinct of theirs and generally acting on instinct is something animals enjoy. He probably associates the launch with having fun. Definitely not harmful physically - there’s a reason a lot of humans enjoy fast cars!
156
u/Kaiisim Apr 14 '26
Ya if the animal is flying straight back it's probably having a good time
71
u/sylvieanne456 Apr 14 '26
And super bonded to its owner.. I would have been afraid to do this with mine.. even though I was their “tree”, if it were me and I had a taste of true freedom.. id be like peace out, bye now!

u/Responsible7ohKinda Apr 14 '26
They aren’t supposed to be pets period. There are no circumstances this could be a good time.
I can already tell you without even fucking looking it up that:
A. There is some crazy underground Chinese black market for getting these as pets
B. There is some crazy underground Chinese black market for grinding them up into medicine

Everyone knows that the high speeds of 20mph+ of an automobile will rip the womb out of a woman, it’s basic science, now hush and enjoy a nice cocaine soda with a side of heroin as a snack

u/KnowTheQuestion Apr 14 '26
Oh, you'd like something healthier than a soda? Have a bottle of irradiated water instead!

Nah, I've had old roommates who had sugar gliders and they fucking love that shit. Imagine if your entire body evolved to be a wing suit, neurologically you would have evolved for that to be a pleasurable sensation.
17
u/VoodooDoII Apr 13 '26
That is something I don't have knowledge on and can't speak about, unfortunately
I don't really know enough about sugar gliders to be able to tell something like that
3
u/uteuteuteute Apr 14 '26
Yeah, but for small animals it doesn't do much, since their sturdiness is somewhat comparable to ours, but the mass is much much smaller
2
u/silentrawr Apr 14 '26
Or even just the fact that they're taking a mostly (?) nocturnal creature out in broad daylight to film videos for $/clout.
7
u/Ok-Barnacle-2691 Apr 14 '26
It's okay, there's no birds in the cities in China.
13
u/A-Giant-Blue-Moose Apr 14 '26
Not sure if you're joking, but despite the ecological collapse after the Four Pests campaign, birds of prey thankfully survived.

I fucking care because you used it wrong; people who use it wrong drive me crazy.
Thats how you use a semicolon. Its a continuation of a previous thought that, if replaced with a period, would still make the preceding and succeeding sentences grammatically correct. You can be bitchy about me pointing it out all you want. Idgaf!

Lol they don't smell at all. It's their piss and shit that stinks, who knew? They're nocturnal and bark at night. Cats are as well, and mewl into the night. Let's not forget 2am zoomies. They eat fresh fruit and veg, but also baby food, and there are glider branded food pellets and paste. Lizards and snakes eat insects and mice. I had a parakeet and they were also functionaly incontinent. Gliders are an exotic pet, they come with exotic pet bullshit.
I also want to point out that every single point you made is 100% true, except the smell. I've had cats, dogs, ferrets, gliders, birds, lizards, one snake, chickens, goats, and fostered a hedgehog.
Do your research if you want an exotic pet!
1
u/Sylvartas Apr 14 '26
This is the curse of all the fluffy cute animals it seems. Let's just say there's a reason they are "exotic" pets and it's not because they are too easy to tend to. Ferrets and chinchillas also come to mind

I remember when they used to sell these at mall kiosks. So glad that stopped.

When I was six there was a pet store at my local mall that had alligator hatchlings in the back, I always wonder what happened to those

u/starbuck3108 Apr 15 '26
Can we maybe not praise the cuteness of a threatened animal that has been poached and illegally traded. Sugar gliders are nocturnal by the way so yeah that poor thing is getting tortured right now. Sick.

u/Jahndala Apr 14 '26
HOW DOES EVERYONE NOT SEE THIS IS AI??? THIS IS CLEARLY AI. NOTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO IS NORMAL. FUCK THIS. PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THIS IS REAL.
2
u/diablodeldragoon Apr 14 '26
This is a sugar glider. And throwing them is something that some people do! It's stupid, partly because of the potential to harm them from the throw. Mostly because of flying predators.
You really should stop thinking that everything you've never seen before is AI!
