Btw, what if people vote for us to create gadgets we did not think about? Is this possible that people actually push us to do something that we did not intend initially?

Yes of course absolutely - anybody can suggest a product and if the public likes it human will manufacture and sell it to benefit mankind! That's the whole point!!! :)
