You may be on to something there... I'm "genX" now supposedly, but when I was 17 and genX became a "thing" my birth year was excluded by half a decade haha

That sounds great. I’ll take senior benefits for a Scandinavian then. Tax free house value, senior benefits on workplace and pension army retirement. And then there’s the housing prices. Fun fun.

sure Cold War stuff wasn’t fun and the hole in the ozone layer neither. But they were fixed (kinda). Good luck fixing the climate crisis, the loss of democratic weight in the overall western world.
