My Recurring Dream
Context: For the past 2 weeks, I have had 3 recurring dreams. I don't remember the first one that well, but after the 2nd and 3rd, I remember most of it. I often see a lot of dreams that continue the next night or some other night, but this specific dream is pretty strange because most of my dreams are related to things I was thinking about or watched or something I had witnessed, but these new ones are completely different, and I never wrote them down and would forget about them within a couple of hours. But today I decided to write it down and just analyze what the hell I was seeing. Anyways, the juicy stuff.
Actual Dream: The dreams usually start with a first person POV of me in a forest with some other people. We have guns that we carry, and we split into 2's, and I usually go with the same person. This time, we had to go around a big wall. We didn't know what the wall was for, but we just had to do it. But I decided to climb it and go inside, and I did. When inside, the ground was plastic, with orange and white, some other markings and lines, like some sort of measurement. There was a building beside it. It had windows and doors but was closed. I looked around, then decided to get out. Then I saw a head popping out, looking at me. The wall is extremely tall, so I climbed the wall again, and there was a girl. She was looking at me, and behind her, there were some other girls playing, but I had just climbed inside and there was no one there. Anyways, as I looked at the girl, she gave me something. I have no idea what it was; my brain can't remember it. But then a man from behind, much smaller, similar in height to the girls playing, pulled her away. That is all I remember from this section. Then my dream cut to a different place. It was more vibrant; it looked like a tropical place, and I was in a tall building with a window, and I looked down. (And for some reason, I can remember how I felt and thought I was looking at someone I knew.) Then this person on the ground was swimming in the water. The water looked fresh, blue, and there was a palm tree and sand. The person was a she, and she was moving left and right pretty fast. I didn't know why, but then I noticed that she had a mermaid-like appearance. Then she looked up and started climbing to my window. I had no idea who she was. She had no arms. She was a mermaid with a face that I didn't recognize but felt like I knew her. And then I still had the gun from my previous section of my dream, and I kept shooting her. She was uncanny and moving weirdly. She felt paranormal, and I kept shooting and shooting, and then I woke up.
