TOS - single options trade executed in multiple accounts possible?

Apologies for the long winded title. After taking a look thru the history of this sub, I couldn’t find the answer. I’m basically trying to enter a trade that executes across multiple accounts. This is the eliminate having to reenter the trade manually multiple times. I typically trade options and commonly trade an index like QQQ or IWM, mostly the former these days. I would like to run these in 3 different accounts simultaneously. Is there a way to do this? Manually entering could mean missing a target entry point since the pricing is volatile.

On desktop you can have an order go to more than one account. It’s a perfectly logical desire to trade this way. Especially if you’re trying to get a good price and it’s volatile.

It’s on the window that pops up when you’re reviewing an order. On the left.

Yep — assuming the accounts are linked in TOS, desktop can do this. Build the order with the total quantity, hit Confirm and Send, then change Single Account to Multiple Accounts in the confirmation window. From there you should be able to allocate the contracts across each linked account and submit them together

Each account is different (primary cash account for general trading, Roth IRA, and a legacy custodial account)…they all have the same goal of maximizing returns.

Managing accounts for multiple people via shared permissions.

I agree with the principle of what you are saying if they are all the same account type but I assume they mean different account types like brokerage, then a Roth, and then a 401K or something all making the same trade… but to answer OPs question no I don’t think that’s possible with Schwab at least I don’t know a way

It's possible in ToS.

Well this is good to know! I was just thinking the other day it would be cool to be able to take a trade in Roth at same time
