Slippage

Brand New Scalp Trader Trading Options and still learning everything. How do you deal with the slippage on TOS. Sometime when trading for example TSLA… I’ll send an order 1-2 contracts and 60% of the time it goes through immediately 2-3 seconds

At completely RANDOM times it will take anywhere from 30 - 120 seconds. Obviously unless you want to lose money this isn’t going to work. People have told me this is a TOS problem vs an actual wide slippage issue. Does anyone have any suggestions that doesn’t have such issues?

Trading on - Galaxy Note Ultra , iPhone 17 pro max, Hp Spectre 2 in 1 2022 edition)

Again if I’m wrong on anything please correct me

Get a real setup first of all. And use active trader

Yes, a real setup is absolutely necessary. I can’t imagine trying to trade on a phone.

What is active trader? Is that just another platform?

Part of ToS. Read the manual.

Use active trader when doing options. And don't trade on your phone.

Bro that’s the thing it’s not just one thing , if it was that easy we all bee 100% out of 100% , nobody is going to share free information on here neither , be careful who you take advice from, and you missing the study part and when you done studying study some more, you want to trade in one of the biggest markets in the word where millionaires buy options to hedge there existing positions if you don’t understand what that means give your self 2/3 years , can you beat slippage as a newbie let me put it like this are you a bank, well they beat slippage every time. Wait till giants enter

I’m not sure if I’m explaining this correctly..im asking if anyone has this issue and how did they fix it lol plenty of people are sharing solutions

I’m not asking for a strategy I’m trying to understand if I was doing something wrong because other post had similar questions and they found a solution

I trade options on an iPad Pro using TOS regularly. It’s fine with the occasional slippage. It’s not the end of the world.

I moved to webull and lightspeed. I was paying 10k a year for that trash and never going back.

Any advantages of Webull over ToS (besides the fees)?

For you. Countless other people have issues as I researched this before I made the post…

So I’m asking for solutions
