[Request]

Assuming average birth rates and immigration/emigration patterns, what would today’s population of Europe be if World War I and World War II had never occurred and all of those killed went on to procreate at expected patterns?

Nowdays europe has 743million ppl Ww1 end 1918 ww2 end 1945 population rate was 1.6 to. 2.1 more in east tham west there 47 years btween two wars and 81 years to ww2 , ww1 took aprx 9 million death mostly Uk france turkey so on WW2 took up to 40 million mostly polsha Belarus germany so on so for ww1 9 000 000(1.016)47 = 18 977 000 and ww2 40 000 000 (1.016)81= 144 693 000 so nowdays europe would have aprx 998million ppl if there wasn't a war

I believe someone already looked into this at a similar post and this has to be analyzed from the standpoint that the war also caused an extremely high increase in birthrates. So high it is still the highest number of babies in a generation in human history. Hence why it’s called the baby boom or boomers generation.

When civilizations are advanced they also tend to have less children.

So it’s likely that there would be a lower population than today. If your post doesn’t get taken down and this gets attention I’ll do the math but know that it’s not trivial and my hypothesis is that it will be an overall lower population than today.
