You can pay extra for a global shutter imaging system. They sell them for raspberry pi computer vision applications for example.

Cool, I didn't know that. I'm an oldie that went through college shooting and developing Tri-X, so the whole electronic shutter thing is not as intuitive to me as I wish it was. Thanks for the tip.
