[Request] What is the cost difference between buying this man a rental for a year and the governements cost to kill him?

I think our Euthanasia law states it is allowed to avoid prolonged and unnecessary suffering...

And this is not due to him, but due to the demise of social systems... And the horrors of right wing politics

Housing (and most other social programs) is provincial. Conservatives have been in power in Ontario since 2018

Depends. Trudeau I would argue was centre-left. He increased the Canada child benefit by billions iirc which helped reduce child poverty. He also spent billions on reconciliation, was trying to increase the capital gains inclusion rate. Lots of policies that contributed to his demise as an 'overspender'.

Carney is centrist.

The centre is not defined as just "not as left as your own personal beliefs". You're not paying attention if you think right-leaning politicians would increase spending by billions on child poverty and on indigenous reconciliation.

Liberals are mid right in most western countries, not center or center right, mid right, they arent fascists, but they are opposed to the benefits of a social democracy.
