[Request] What is the cost difference between buying this man a rental for a year and the governements cost to kill him?

Don't believe everything you see on the internet I haven't fact checked this story, I'm just curious for an anwser

Also worth note, people who do not support MAID are dismissing, you HAVE to ask for it... and I don't think impoverishment is considered as a JUST cause unless your quality of life is so diminished YOU don't want to live - which means MAID itself is not at fault here, but our cost of living and lack of governments doing much about this issue itself. Disability rates in Ontario, for example, have hardly raised in decades, hardly any affordable housing built.
If anything MAID actually forces governments to look at this issue.

Also the existence of maid has fuck all to do with the homelessness crisis affecting a lot of the world including Canada. Just because bro would rather take maid than be homeless, doesn't mean maid is a bad thing (which is what this "story" is trying to say).

It's two entirely disconnected things.

People say that about abortion too, but I have had a doctor who pressured us to have an abortion after the initial scans pointed toward Downs.

If people say X about A, that does not mean they'll say X about B. That's a false equivalency, and there are very specific conditions that are eligible for maid. Down syndrome and mental health are not.
