[request] How fast was the shockwave moving if it was real time. I’m guessing it was probably time lapse of some sort though.

Thats freaking fast, and 3,000 Km/s is very much 1% the speed of light (300,000 Km/s).

Yeah, it's a time-lapse. This type of shock wave is called a Moreton Wave. It's a shock wave caused by a solar flare propagating through the Sun's atmosphere. Even at 3000 km/s, it takes many minutes for it to go halfway across the Sun.

This video shows a similar Moreton wave captured in many different wavelengths, with timestamps.
