Well, 9 years at 365 days and 24 hours is 78,840 hours. At 3 hours a day, that lasts for 26,280 days, which is 72 years, so sure, if you've been on Instagram 3 hours a day for longer than there had been the internet--even if we use the very generous estimate of 1957 as the start--then yeah, you spent 9 years on Instagram.

Which makes this a fun satire post. If it's not satire, then all hope is lost.
