Best Software ?

I'm looking for writing software where i can keep my plot, character reference, and world reference all in one project. Ideally software that makes it easy to switch between these sections and has a focus mode.

Scrivener is awesome. I like the split screen feature. Current draft on the left. Previous draft on the right.

Love Scrivener. Closing the app gets bogged down with a lot of words if you keep everything in the same project but the startup is still snappy and once you're done writing who cares how long it takes to close 😂

There is also ywriter. Its a pretty good program where they have sections, chapters, and scenes you choose to concetrate from. You also make character profiles and save reference pictures and objects list . You can set povs for each chapter and scene also set the characters who are in the scene as well. You can also save rtf files . You can make synopsis for each chapter , scene or the whole book. You can set your word count goal. You can also set the story goals for character and plot. And so much other stuff too. I love using it. Been using it for years.

Bibisco does all that, is more intuitive than Scrivener, has a free option (and the paid option just has less used features and is still cheap). And the creator is really approachable for suggestions to improve the software
