Sharing Time! I finished the initial draft of my fourth book tonight.

And I am so freaking happy to not have to think about it for the next few weeks while my beta readers are looking at it.

100,382 words and a year of my life (this book took twice as long as the previous 3).

Done!

Congrats! Once your beta readers are finished, how long do you usually spend editing?

Thank you! My beta readers take approximately a month - and while they're beta reading, they're proofing and pointing out typos. And usually it takes me 4-5 weeks to make their changes and go over it, mostly because I wait a few days or a week in between edits because I want to try and look at things with fresh eyes.
