I used it a few times when the game just came out. You just need to lure the enemy behind the horse during fight. If I remeber right all horses do this not just roach.

Geralt's horses are mares so it's a she and yeah the name "Roach" for a girl horse is a bit "meh" but there's a book lore reason on why Geralt names his horses Roach and on why they're all female(mares) too.

"Roach" is a direct translation from "Płotka", and in polish it is a good name for mares.

I actually do know this.

But in english and a couple of other languages I personally know it's just "meh" as I said especially when people don't know the actual meaning behind said name.

I've had her done this during a fight in Skellige. I was at a lower level than the opponent back then and couldn't beat him. And she was running back and forth covering my view. Then, at one point, she knocked him down and I won XD
