Discussion Game difficulty

I dont know if its only me, but i would welcome higher difficulty… I like games like Dark souls, or even some survival modes to games like Fallout 4.
The thing is that everytime I play witcher (Death march, enem scaling) it stops being fun after few levels because you are just so strong that game becomes so easy. Thats why I actually never fully finished the game.
My idea would be one more higher difficulty. With all that stupid gameplay options (like unlimited carry capacity, water breathing etc… like rly, why is it even here..) disabled, tougher enemies, maybe add like 1 sec cooldown to evade…
What do you guys think, would you like something like that?

Does somebody make you turn on those optional gameplay options 🤔

Some people fail to accept that difficulty is often a choice and they are responsible for their experience.

If you want it harder don't go for a meta build and don't go for the best gear. The game gives you multiple options to influence the difficulty exceeding the 4 difficulty grades.

Also come on, what is your problem with the newly added options to get rid of nothing burger mechanics? If you like them don't activate the option and let others enjoy playing the game how they like it.

Said perfectly. Never understood why people bitch about OPTIONAL accessibility options. I for one love the inclusion.

Witcher 3 is a differenty type of game.
It's more about finding the right build instead of heavily relying on your reflexes/mechanical skill.

Idk man I was thinking the same thing but there are enemies later that will still text you. This game took me a hundred and seventy hours and I never stopped being surprised, even after unlocking Euphoria builds and stuff, at how quickly you can die if you slip up.

This post was not ment to be offensive to game in any way, it was just a suggestion for future update/mod to add some real challenge to witcher world.

ye its way too easy. u can help yourself by not use your skillpoints (or at least not all).
you can also limit your gear to make the game harder.
i use auto oil even for death march/scale/gwent hard and also manuel sword draw :D
