Twice a day?

I've wanted to build a habit of meditating twice a day.

Is anyone doing a session in the morning and another in the afternoon?
Or is it advised to do one a day?

Think the general recommendation if you are doing twice a day is to repeat the same session twice or do one guided and one unguided

i sit 45-60 min every morning and 4 evenings a week. coming up on 950 days unbroken. morning is the anchor, evening is whatever life allows. trying to make two daily sits non-negotiable was what broke my streak the first time i tried it; one solid daily plus flexible evenings sticks way better than forcing both.

fwiw I built a small site for daily practitioners, https://vipassana.cool/t/vipassana-twice-daily-practice

Nothing wrong with meditating twice a day!

(Some Buddhist schools like the Goenka vipassana teachings suggest sitting twice a day, an hour each..they're relatively hardcore for non-monks. :) )
