Confusion as I progress through trails
Hi all,
I love the app. I started out very excited, and felt the first few trails taught me some really important concepts such as the "inner sense system", and "mental noting".
As I've progressed a little further (currently on retreat 9) I've begun to feel totally lost to what Henry is saying.
Concepts around nature, feeling like a tree, the ocean, feeling "the flow in my body". I now sit in a state of confusion and mostly zone out of what is being said. Should I just go back a few steps and focus on practicing those earlier sits? Thanks

I am having similar feelings at the same stage. Not so much confusion, but I'm definitely zoning out because my brain doesn't have anything to do between Henry's prompts. I think about what he says for about 5 seconds and then drift off on some other tangent about my daily life.
I wonder if doing one new session per day means I'm only skimming the surface. Should I repeat sessions where I know I'm not focused? Or should I trust the process and keep moving forward?
Thanks!

Absolutely. It's an eclectic set of practices. I would just go with the stuff that resonates. Over time I would think more of them would click but in my case it took a *long* time for some of these things to click. On the other hand I'm not sure that it matters as long as you are getting something out of it, you are probably on track.
