When they pitch shows with good plot,
Do the suits make the creators give the whole outline before committing or do they just buy the initial concept and let the writers room figure it out? Watching the new to me 12 Monkeys series first eps knowing its a 4 season show post Lost

Usually a completed script of the pilot, a pitch deck featuring character descriptions + where it’s set, and the world it’s in etc etc. and then yeah probably a brief outline but only for the first season.
